W.O.D – 5/3/10 (MetCon Upper)

My brother is a personal trainer and he spent the last two days verbally assaulting me based on the weights I used on squats on Saturday (which I am still sore from).

While I hate doing steady-state anything, and I revolt against it in general, I rode my desk bike for 30 minutes (during a weekly company phone-in meeting). I got in a light work out afterwards, and finished it off with a contrast shower.

Workout:

  • 30 minutes pedaling on the inStride Cycle XL (during a meeting)
  • Jump Rope – 1x 100 both feet, 1x 200 alternating feet
  • Pushups – 108 total (35, 19, 12, 10, 12, 12, 8 reps)
  • Farmers Walks – 3 sets of 36 yards @ 75lbs
  • 15 minutes on the stationary bike

Nice workout, got my legs feeling better and got some good work in.

    You sir are a maniac for doing all of those squats. You’re already as strong as an Ox, however I do now kind of understand why you might have done it. I’m thinking hormesis am I close?
